(Getting Real in Business)

When: 12:45pm to 1:45pm

What: Running a business helps young people achieve economic independence. Young entrepreneurs are more likely to engage in their local community, spreading their experience and energy, creating additional jobs. Entrepreneurship is not for everybody, but for many it can be a really rewarding venture. Without hard-earned experience, young people may think that running a business is not that hard to do.  To avoid the pitfalls, it is important to get real and be educated about the nuts and bolts, pitfalls and rewards, agony and ecstasy of “being your own boss”.
